Grand Opening of Chicago Veteran’s VetHub
Chicago’s first ever modern information hub for Military Veterans.
CHICAGO, IL — Chicago’s Portage Park neighborhood will soon be home to the first ever modern information hub for Military Veterans. The VetHub was created by Veterans for Veterans to help facilitate the challenging transition of Military life to civilian life. It will not only serve as the office for Chicago Veterans, a 501(c)3, but it will also be used as a mentoring facility for Veterans needing assistance with disability claims, education benefits, building a resume, finding employment or even starting their own business.
VetHub Features: Art work created or inspired by Chicago-area Veterans, access to office space, including laptops & printers for Veterans to work on online claims, resumes, job searches or even their own business plan, a gathering space for local Veterans to network and build new relationships, and home to numerous events and classes that will better serve our community and Veterans.
About the hosting organization: Chicago Veterans is a local nonprofit organization founded by a group of Combat Veterans. The all-volunteer team is focused on building a stronger Veteran community and providing guidance to returning Veterans by providing an informative website and hosting networking & social events.
