24 Hour Sleepout: For homeless Veterans

Hosted by Columbia College Chicago’s Student Veteran Association

On December 15th, Columbia College Chicago’s Student Veteran Association will be hosting their 5th annual 24HR HOMELESS VETERAN SLEEPOUT with support from Chicago Veterans.  Each year they gather in solidarity with the homeless veteran population and elect to spend 24 hours braving the elements of winter in Chicago to raise awareness and support for the homeless veteran population in Chicago and across the country.

This year our funds will be a 60/40 split between the veteran program at Thresholds and Chicago Veterans. We will also collect new or gently used clothing donations for the homeless at the event.

This event will take place on December 15th at 9:30am to Dec 16th at  9:30am. We will be at the Sculpture Garden at the corner of S. Wabash and 11th St in Chicago (60605). This is open to all Veterans, family members and supporters. We encourage everyone to join us as we brave the elements. This will be a great event but please come prepared and dressed for the weather.
