Chicago Veterans Ruck March
Chicago Veterans Ruck March
Ruck for a Purpose, whether you’re Rucking for yourself, a loved one, a friend, a fellow service member, or in honor of someone who is no longer with us. This is more than just a walk; it’s a day of unity, reflection, and action. It’s a time when we set aside everything else in our lives to come together, share our stories, our laughter, and our tears, surrounded by a community that understands.
When we march side by side, we are part of something greater—a movement committed to hope, remembrance, and change. Join us on this unforgettable journey as we honor those we’ve lost, support those still fighting, and take action to break the stigma surrounding mental health and suicide.
Let’s walk for those who can no longer walk beside us.
Event Day Schedule:
The day begins with an inspirational Opening Ceremony, where thousands of participants gather, united by a shared purpose. The energy, strength, and camaraderie in that moment is unmatched.
As you ruck through 20 miles of Chicago and its suburbs, you’ll feel an overwhelming sense of pride walking alongside thousands of others.
The route takes us from Evanston, down the scenic hiking trail along Lake Michigan, and toward North Avenue Beach, before circling back to Evanston for the Closing Ceremony. Along the way, you’ll be met with encouragement and gratitude from the communities and people we pass, reminding us why this mission matters.
At the finish line, we’ll celebrate together with food, resources, and a strong support network, ensuring that the impact of this event goes beyond just one day.
