Chicago Veterans Ruck March
R
Our Ruck March is more than just a walk; it’s a day of unity, reflection, and action. It’s a time when we set aside everything else in our lives to come together, share our stories, our laughter, and our tears, surrounded by a community that understands. Whether you’re rucking for yourself, a loved one, a friend, or in honor of someone no longer with us, this powerful event brings us together to raise awareness for suicide prevention efforts and break the stigma surrounding mental health.
Event Day Schedule:
0700–0815 – Check-In
0830 – Opening Ceremony
0900 – Step-Off
1630 – Closing & Celebration
As we ruck 20 miles through Evanston, Chicago, and along Lake Michigan, we march side by side with purpose—honoring those we’ve lost, supporting those still fighting, and showing that you are not in this alone. We will finish together with food, resources, and fellowship, ensuring the unity felt on this day carries forward long after the final mile.
Let’s walk for those who can no longer walk beside us—and for those who still need us here.
