Our Liberty Calls are recurring high-impact networking events consisting of current military members, veterans, spouses, and civilians designed to connect attendees with subject matter experts, thought leaders, employers, and organizations to help build a stronger social support system and take your career to the next level.

This month was hosted at the famous Mox.E Chicago, a coworking and private offices space in the Chicago South Loop where minority and women-owned businesses and entrepreneurs go to build, connect, and capitalize their businesses. Located on Michigan Ave where Chicago’s famous black-owned record label Vee-Jay Records was once housed.

This strip on South Michigan quickly turned into the historic Record Row where many other famous black-owned labels were also located. Vee-Jay is renowned for its catalog of blues classics by Jimmy Reed, John Lee Hooker, Billy Boy Arnold, and many more. The building holds such rich history of black and women ownership makes it an excellent fit with Mox.E and their mission.
